The research and development department of Pharmed is considered to be one of the fundamental parts of research activity at Iranian Consortium of Dialysis. This department strives to produce understanding in manufacturing better products, paired with top technology, ensuring a boost in productivity.

Research performance

 

  • Designing and developing blood line and fistula needle sets using newest technology, which led to mass production in 2012
  • Designing bicarbonate sodium cartridges, which led to mass production of RenaCard and RenaBag I 2013
  • Designing cartridges for acid and acetate hemodialysis concentrates with different formulations according to customer needs. This production led to mass in 2014 and acid concentrates I & II by Pharmed were designed in the Medical Equipment Department of the Ministry of Health in ISBT 128 from ICCBBA
  • Designing 8 types of blood bags according to international and update standards. This caused to obtain ISBT 128 from ICCBBA.
