Pharmed provides sterilization services for external customers for a large group of products. Pharmed provides both (Steam Sterilization in autoclave chambers and ethylene oxide gas (ETO Sterilization) which are validated and approved by National Medical Equipmen Department .
The choice of sterilization method depends on the type of material and equipment, the type of microorganisms and their number.
Steam Sterilization method in Pharmed:
Temp. interval: 121 to 134Celsius
Heating time:about 15 minutes.
• Is performed in accordance with the standards BS EN ISO 11138-3, BS EN ISO 11138-2, BS EN ISO 11138-1 BS EN ISO 11737-1,
• Is suitable for all kinds of disposable medical products and laboratory equipment such as Sterile bandage and gauze, disposable medical clothes, surgical sutures, surgical thread (suture), gastric tube, disposable syringe, Foley tube, Nelaton tube, cuffed and uncuffed tracheal tube, anjucate, surgical and examination gloves, set Serum, blood exchange set, dialysis set, feeding tube, nasogastric tube, chest tube, gelatin capsule, microset, etc..
• Adjustable parameters for sterilization according to the product characteristics and the customer’s request.
